Join us for a tour of the
Arts & Crafts Museum in St Petersburg
Opened in 2021, the MAACM is dedicated exclusively to the American Arts & Crafts movement which spread across the country from approximately 1890-1930.
The elements of the movement included Simplicity in Design, Honesty in Materials, and Hand Craftsmanship. Founded by philanthropist and collector Rudy Ciccarello, there are examples of furniture, pottery, ceramic tiles, metalwork, woodblocks, fine art, lighting, textiles, leaded glass, etc.
The museum itself is an architectural work of art with its Grand Atrium, Skylights and dramatic Spiral Staircase. We will have an overview and explanation of the museum and select works of art during a 1-hour Docent led tour.
